PLEASURE OR CRUELTY holds a story I cannot fully tell. It was created as a private commission for a collector in California, who asked me to hide something deeply personal within the work. That message belongs only to him, and I intend to keep it that way.

What I can say is that this piece will always have a special place in my journey because it was my very first private commission. Creating something for someone else, while still remaining true to my own language, was both a responsibility and an emotion I had never experienced before.

I approached it with care, trust and a real desire to understand what he wanted to feel when looking at it. Every movement became part of that dialogue between his story and mine.

PLEASURE OR CRUELTY was created with my feet, but also very much with my heart. And perhaps that is what I will always remember most about it.
